Thomas Trainor, CPA - Managing Partner
Thomas graduated from Western Michigan University in 1984 with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. He obtained his CPA license shortly after graduation and has a proven track record of helping his clients meet their financial goals and achieve success.
Thomas started his own public accounting firm, Kampf, Trainor, and Associates, shortly after his graduation. For more than 25 years, Thomas grew the firm and client portfolio to one that offered a wide range of services to include management consulting, individual and business tax planning, CFO outsourcing, estate planning, and more.
Thomas brings this background to Business Advisors where he continues to meet his clients’ financial needs while providing effective CFO outsourcing to other businesses that rely on his skillset.
Adam Trainor - Accounting Services Manage

Adam received his Bachelor’s degree from Marquette University in 2017 with a focus in Accounting and Finance.
Prior to joining Business Advisors, Adam spent time working in Manufacturing before moving to an Assurance role with Ernst & Young. During his time at EY, Adam gained experience with large manufacturing and not-for-profit clients on audit engagements. This experience allowed Adam to gain familiarity with PCAOB & SEC regulatory compliance which helps us serve clients that have customized financial needs. Adam brings a diverse background of both industry and public accounting experience to provide our clients with innovative and analytical solutions for their accounting ventures.
Kimberly Barrow - Accounting
Associate
Kimberly started her career in finance at the Mercantile Exchange in Chicago where she managed a broad portfolio of trade accounts for brokers. Kimberly has a wide variety of experience within the financial sector to include working with derivatives, currencies, and dealt with markets including S&P 500 & NASDAQ indexes.
Kimberly worked several years in industry where she gained management experience overseeing a company that generated over $2 million in sales volume. At Business Advisors, Kimberly specializes in bookkeeping, cash flow analysis, vendor costing, and client relations.
